The School of Women’s Political Participation was concluded in the capital Amman, which was launched by the Ministerial Committee for Women’s Empowerment in cooperation with the National Democratic Institute, which aims to enhance and refine the skills of Jordanian women at the level of public, political and partisan work.
The role of the Ministerial Committee for Women’s Empowerment lies in reviewing and coordinating the most important priorities for women’s empowerment during the coming period, refining women’s basic skills and enabling them to participate in political, economic and social life, and shedding light on Jordanian women through workshops and trainings and presenting their success stories.
Mrs. Asmaa Al-Imami, head of the Women's Empowerment Unit in the Greater Ma'an Municipality, participated from the Greater Ma'an Municipality in the trainings held by the National Democratic Institute. During the training, she presented a working paper to empower women economically and politically in Ma'an Governorate.
